Eastwood's mistake at the Republican convention was a stellar performance. He came on stage with only an empty chair as a prop and did a 12 minutes performances that had the crowd roaring. Eastwood's performance came with a great metaphor of the Republican campaign against a fictious Obama and right wing campaign to put the words they want into President Obama's mouth. Eastwood reinforced the Republican Party sterotype of rich old white men. The twelve minute performance completely drowned out the weak message on Romney and no one Democrat, indpendent or Republican remembers anything Romney said that night nor is anyone talking about Romney these weeks later. Clint Eastwood sucked all of the oxegen out of the RNC and maybe the Romney Campaign with his performance.
