Good example of why the death penalty is needed
How can this man do what he did and stay firmly unrepentant yet only get 21 years? That is not even a year per person he killed.
I'm opposed to the death penalty not that some people don't deserve it but the death penalty is does damage the society that uses it. The death penalty does not make us safer of less violent but I this the opposite is true.
77 deaths vs 21 years equals a little more then .27 of a year for each murder. I can not see in what world that seems fair. It to me seems to encourage being a mass murderer since the penalty is very low for the crime you commit.
