Poetic Justice?

I think personally it would be great if Templeton properties bought the old high school grounds. The town has spent untold thousands of dollars of our money to avoid Templeton from building near the mayor's neighborhood. Now they could build just a couple miles down the road.

I also think if Templeton properties was to build on the property it would be more likely to hire local companies then an out of town company buying the land.

Are you going to change ?

I have been using the beta and will probably upgrade. But if you're going to get any new tech soon might want to buy it before the 26th. So will you be upgrading ?

Off limits !

First a medical clinic has cost taxpayers thousands and thousands of dollars to keep out. Now it is clear after not allowing this project that this part of town is off limits to building in.

Where will the money go?

I am happy to see the process is going on to sell the old school property. Once it is finished I hope to see the income from the sale be used to pay down the existing debt not to fund more projects right away. What about you ?

Why do we still fight in the name of religion?

As an atheist this picture breaks my heart. Does it really matter whose "god" is the right one to believe in? Does your god or anyones help bring back this little boy ?

The human race evolved to be the dominant species on the planet, yet we kill each other over who believes in the "right"  man in the sky.

This was taken near the Dar El Shifa hospital in Aleppo after three suicide bombers detonated cars packed with explosives in a government-controlled area of the city. Coupled with mortar attacks, the day saw at least 34 people killed and 122 people were injured; you can read about it here.

I am suprised

I was not expecting the commissioners to act in the best interests financially of all of our tax burdens. If they accept an offer on the old school property and pay down the debt thats the best thing for us. Adding more debt to the already huge one for the new high school is not going to do any of us any good.

If an industrial park is needed offer incentives for a commercial enterprise to build it. I do not think while we are in such debt is the time for the county to be a landlord even more so than we already are.

If there was no drop in unemployment . The right would claim it is Obama's fault. Now that there is a lowering and I think thats great news  it is a fake report to help his ratings after the debate. So which do you think it is ?

Take the money!

Watauga is in debt deeply with the new High School  Now i read about wanting to spend millions more on buying IPads for every student after we spent million to buy them all laptops. I say take the money and pay down the debt before spending more and more to go deeper in the hole.
